I’ve been looking through every single video of water because it brings me so much peace. Take some time to breathe here if you want or need.

I this as I sit in another waiting room. I’ve struggled even posting this update about chronic illness because in some ways I still very much so benefit from privileges of being able bodied, white and having access to healthcare. But I feel like there’s not a lot talked about on social media regarding hidden illness was that so many people are going through with the expectation to be just as productive or “normal” as others. So this is my transparency post you could say, it’s a long one. Disclaimer: I’m not looking for advice on any of this.

A picture from before. I spent some time going through pictures of photos of the beach on my phone. I miss being with others on the beach. That community. I’ve been reflecting a lot of what community means and how to cultivate it in this space we’re in and dreams of what it could look like months from now. The beach is always a place of reflection and joy for me. It’s something I want to share and cultivate outside of the beach.

At the end of my first weekend learning with @within.you.mentorship and I’m so tired and so excited and so inspired. I have so much work to do (always) on myself and my proximities to power. For now, I’m going to read and take a few days off the gram to reboot and savor. Much love to this community and to my new community in this mentorship ♥️

Sometimes I wish I could fly through the past write a message on your back

Moving my body is fucking hard for me lately. And I’m sure I’m not alone in this. I find myself comparing to what I was doing a year ago, how often I was walking, going to the gym, or to yoga classes. We’re all under such stress whether realized or not, and it’s hard on our bodies!
